I was 7th quickest out of 21 in both practice sessions on Friday, but in qualifying the left-rear king pin snapped and the wheel ripped off. Luckily I was able to keep it under control and avoid the walls, but the repair by amateur mechanics took a long time and it knocked us out of Race 1.
In Race 2 I started last, and on the last corner of Lap 1 my differential gave up. We’ll take it apart tomorrow but it looks like the pinion gear is gone. Not really sure how it happened but we’ll have to send the gearbox out for a rebuild, which likely means missing the next race at Summit Point.

I went back and watched one of your videos - Montreal I think. Very cool. Sorry about the weekend. Hopefully you will find a way to make the next race.
